Abstract view of Paris, France by famous Montmartre female painter, Sacre-Coeur

REF: 2357

French Abstract city scene of Paris, with Sacre-Coeur, The Eiffel Tower, and rooftops.

Her style has evolved from figurative into her preferred style of abstraction having studied under Olivier Debre' at Beaux-Arts in Paris. She has worked in most forms and styles but is probably best known to collectors for her watercolor work depicting historic buildings, cafes, and street scenes of Paris. These pictures in particular illustrate her education, knowledge, and skill working in this medium.

With an economy and sensitivity in her brushstrokes and application, she is able to create atmosphere and emotion in each of her compositions.

She worked and exhibited for several years at Pont-Aven in Brittany where she concentrated on the beauty of the sea and all its moods. Some of her scenes of boats and the sea in that part of the world have been exhibited at the Mystic Seaport Gallery in the USA.

Her main exhibitions include FIAP in Paris, Beaux-Arts Paris, Ibiza Graffic ( etchings ). She has been sponsored by BNP bank and exhibited at the BNP Opera, the BNP Place Vendôme, the BNP Lafayette, the BNP Rivoli in Paris, as well as annual exhibits with the artist's group ArtMO.

The painting was purchased by a collector directly from the artist in Montmartre.
